You've seen it on TV during the Olympics. Have you ever wondered what it is like to curl? Now you can give it a try.
For $16 US, you'll get an introductory lesson, learn some curling terminology, and then see what it's like to be on the ice and curl a few ends.
The event runs from 4:00p - 6:00p on Sun Dec 15 at the Niagara Falls Curling Club.
Space is limited, so register TODAY!
WHAT TO BRING
- Passport or Enhanced Drivers License (you won't be able to get over the bridge without it)
- Clean, dry shoes (preferably sneakers) to wear on the ice. DO NOT WEAR THESE TO THE CLUB, bring them with you to put on inside the club.
- Hat and gloves
- Layers of warm clothes. You will be standing on ice, so it will be cold. But, when you start moving, you may get warm and want to remove a layer or two.
DIRECTIONS
- Get to Niagara Falls, US and Rainbow Bridge
- Cross the Rainbow Bridge into Niagara Falls, Canada
- Continue on ON-420 West
- Turn right onto Stanley Rd
- Turn left onto Morrison St
- The club will be on your right: 5801 Morrison St, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 2E8, Canada
